CONGRATULATIONS - THIRD in Opens at Treloar Shield Final

Great Fun and Team Spirit had by all on Saturday 17 December at the Treloar Shield final.

In extremely windy and cold conditions A small team of 20 ventured out to SOPAC on the 17 December ranging in ages from 12 to 59 to put their best foot forward and try to accumulate as many points as possible in the final to see if we could better our qualifying position of 7th. We acheived well above our ranking with a Third place in the Opens Division thanks to many athletes who put their hand up to do events like Discus and Shot Put that are well outside their normal range. Every athlete contributed towards the total team tally of 354 points, thank you to all.
